Prideens Paying a Tribute to the ‘Father of the Nation’ on Gandhi Jayanth
Commemorating the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, the young Presidians/ Prideens are seen engrossed in the celebration and essence of Gandhi Jayanthi. Dressed as Gandhiji and remembering him as the idol of Ahimsa, they offer flowers and light candles to his photo, singing his favourite devotional song Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram.

Celebrating the Festival of Janmashtami
As part of Janmashtami celebrations, the school premises were beautifully decorated with flowers, buntings, swings and idols of Lord Krishna. The children came dressed as little Radha and Krishna turning the school into a little Vrindavan. The dance performance by children and the Krishan Leela presented by their teachers added to the festivities.

Celebrating Raksha Bandhan with Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh
The children of Mother’s Pride met the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on 21st August ‘2013, and had the opportunity to tie Rakhi on the wrist of their Prime Minister.

Celebrating Rakhi, Keeping Traditions Alive
Raksha Bandhan was celebrated in all branches of Mother’s Pride. On this auspicious occasion children, dressed in traditional attire, expressed their love for their siblings. A special assembly was conducted where teachers discussed the significance of the festival with the children.
