The day was celebrated to familiarize children with heroes both real and fictional, from all walks of life. Our tiny tots were apprised about fictional heroes like Spiderman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Captain America who serve and protect humanity from evil. They were also told tales of real-life superheroes without capes- doctors, nurses, policemen, firefighters, etc., who play a vital role in our lives. With great enthusiasm, our proud Prideens dressed as their favourite superheroes shared how they would fight evil and safeguard the fate of humanity. They enjoyed making their own superhero masks. The activity culminated with the children giving a token of love to their real superheroes- their parents.World Dance Day is a worldwide celebration of the “art of dance”.
