Guru Purnima is one of the most important festivals celebrated in India. To express our gratitude for a teacher who teaches us to follow the right path and enlightens us by giving us knowledge and understanding. Guru Purnima was celebrated with love and devotion by the Prideens. Teachers have a special place in our lives and our first teacher, our Preschool teacher, gives a strong foundation to the young ones. The virtual classes at Mother’s Pride started and echoed with sounds of thank you teacher and expressing appreciation through words – I love you, ma’am. The little ones got dressed up as their teachers and then offered prayers to Goddess Saraswati with their friends and teachers. To express their love and say thanks in their own special way, children coloured and decorated Happy Guru Purnima cards for their teachers.
