An activity termed “Clay Activity” was organized in Mother’s Pride school with an objective to develop fine motor skills and speaking skills in children. Children were provided different brightly colored clay balls and were asked to make food items of their choice. They were then asked to share their food with each other. During this activity, children were so excited that they started narrating stories related to what they made (out of clay). This in-turn enhanced their way of expression and was a perfect example of learning in a playful manner.
