Mother’s Pride initiates learning along with some fun! With an aim to refurbish the cognitive faculties of young Prideens from Grade Play Group, two fun time activities called ‘Vegetable Printing’ and ‘Hopscotch Game’ were organized for them. For these activities, a huge cut out of mango was placed in the lobby and an interesting layout was drawn for the Hopscotch game. Prideens were quick to pick up the curriculum of the preceding session, where they had already been introduced to the concept of different food items. Excited to participate in the activity, Prideens learnt vegetable printing by dipping potatoes in yellow colour and then used it to fill colours in the mango cut out. Well, the fun did not just end here! After the colorful vegetable printing, Prideens played the Hopscotch game where they had to identify different vegetables drawn on the layout, by jumping on the lay out. It was a fun way of learning and also helped in developing their gross and fine motor skills.
