“Young children learn how things fit together through play. It allows them to use their senses and encourages exploration and curiosity, and these skills are the foundation of intellectual development.” Through play, they develop physically and discover a slew of emotional skills, and they learn how to process the world. The pink colour was introduced through the Pink Pyjama Party. Cute little Prideens came to the class dressed up in their pink pyjamas, carrying their toothbrush and paste. All pretended to go to sleep listening to bedtime stories and got up when called by the teacher. Everyone enjoyed colouring in pink pyjamas and drinking strawberry milk shakes. Pretend Play promotes healthy development and critical thinking skills. It reinforces memory, helps children understand cause and effect, and helps children explore the world and understand it.
