“Green vegetables, fresh, clean fruits.
Carrot, tomato, apple juice.
Mummy says, eat them all,
It makes us healthy, strong, and tall.”
Salad Vegetables give children energy, vitamins, antioxidants, fiber, and water. They protect children against diseases. To help students develop healthy food habits, Prideens were introduced to the world of salad vegetables through real vegetables, rhymes, and salad-making activities. Activities like salad making help young children learn and practice math concepts, build language skills, encourage children to explore with their senses and adventurous palate. The experience of creating meals enhance their self-confidence and lay the foundation for healthy eating habits.
