Learning the alphabet as the foundation of spoken language gives students the advantage of knowing how letters and words are pronounced, how to think in a language, and how to spell in that language. We, at Mother’s Pride, believe in the fact that Letter recognition is an important skill that enables our beginning readers to figure out how printed text is associated with the spoken language. It equips our Prideens with the fundamental part of learning how to read, sound-symbol relationships, and develop related vocabulary. Letter Q was very introduced through the story of a King, who was very ill, so he slept in the quilt for many days. The introduction of a letter with a story with illustrations and creative and engaging activities helps form the basis of our language and communication for a lifetime.
