Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Gurpurab, is the birth anniversary of the first founding guru of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The festival holds mighty importance for the followers of the Sikh religion, who treat it as a day to remember his teachings, noble work, and the ideas that he preached. We, at Mother’s Pride, firmly believe that the more involved and aware the children are, the more they stand to inherit good values. In line with this view, Guru Purab was celebrated with great enthusiasm, and celebrations involved children in speaking about the day’s significance. Students recited mool mantra and shabd, enjoyed watching moral stories from the life of Guru Nanak Dev ji. The day was marked as a day when Prideens learned the real meaning of the festival.
