Art and craft are fun a time for children. It allows kids to explore ideas and concepts and then express it by making something to keep, entertain others with or simply look at for visual pleasure. It not only keeps them entertained, but also extends a child’s fine motor skills; develop concepts like colour or numbers and enhancement of eye hand coordination.
Number “8” was introduced to our Grade Pre-nursery children. To help them recapitulate the same, teachers engaged our Prideen’s in making their own friendly spider. Children made small black balls of clay. They then inserted 4 matchsticks and with the help of the pencil they created the eyes of their spiders. Children then counted the number of legs of the spider. They were really happy to get the clay and took their spider back home.
