To commemorate the birth anniversary of a legend who rose to the level of Mahatma for his altruism and selflessness, the national festival of Gandhi Jayanti was gloriously celebrated by our Prideens. Our young Prideens dressed up as Gandhi Ji, Kasturba Gandhi, sang Bapu Ji’s favourite bhajans, and enlightened us about his teachings of Ahimsa and social equality. Children showcased their creativity by making charkhas, colouring, and decorating the images of Gandhi Ji and Tiranga. They wore the iconic ‘chashma’ and carried the ‘lathi’ to make the celebration even more special. To familiarize children with his ideals and vision, they were shown PPT, short stories, and poems on the teachings and philosophy of Gandhi Ji. The assembly culminated with a message to spread love and peace.
