To make Prideen’s well acquainted with their cultural traditions; Mothers’ Pride celebrated the joyous festival of good over evil, Dussehra, with great joy and enthusiasm. A special virtual assembly was conducted where Prideens were told about the victory of Lord Ram against Demon King Ravana and Goddess Durga against Demon Mahishasura, both signifying the triumph of good over evil. The day began with storytelling using props for kids to understand the essence of the occasion. Cute tiny tots dressed beautifully as Ramayana characters gave speeches and dance performances, signifying the festival’s importance. A stage performance of the last battle between Lord Rama and Ravan was performed by the teachers dressed up as Lord Rama, Laxman, Hanuman, and Demon king Ravana. The festival of Vijaydashmi was celebrated to instill lifelong values and give a sound foundation of victory of truth over the lies with enthusiasm under the echoes of Jai Shri Ram.
