We, at Mother’s Pride, understand the importance of excursions in the development of a child. Keeping the present situation in consideration a virtual picnic to the Railway Museum was organized for Prideens. Teachers and students all dressed up with sneakers and glares along with their picnic bags enjoyed their virtual picnic thoroughly. Students were engaged in activities like running, jumping, playing games, dancing, etc to facilitate gross motor skills, strengthening core stability, bilateral coordination, eye-hand coordination, body awareness, muscle memory, and many other skills. The goal of virtual picnics was to provide an opportunity for children to see each other in a ‘social setting.’ Children enjoyed watching the National Railway Museum virtually and enhancing knowledge about different railways. The virtual train ride was a big hit with children where along with their teachers the virtual ride became real.
