One of the essential aspects of holistic development for preschoolers is developing their math skills and understanding of language & objects in our day to day life. To expand their knowledge of different shapes and to associate them with their daily life, Prideens were engaged in special activities in their virtual classrooms. Children enjoyed joining the diagonal ends of the tissue paper, napkins, and forming a triangle. They strengthened their fine motor skills by modeling clay into triangular objects, coloring the triangular roof of the house. Children’s hidden cooking skills came into limelight when they made a triangular sandwich for breakfast and served everyone. They sorted the shapes, learned their names with their teachers’ help. These activities served as the foundation step into the world of geometry.
