“Childhood is like a bird; it ignores all boundaries.”
Under the theme Animals around us, tiny tots were introduced to the world of birds. Children were familiarised with the pictures, names, and characteristics of the birds through videos, PDF, and pretend play. Children went to the park with their parents for bird watching. Prideens were engaged in fun-filled activities like making birds with hand printing and paper folding. Flying crow with paper folding was loved by all of the children. Awareness was created among the children about Birds being a critical part of our ecological system. We need the birds to eat insects, move seeds and pollen around, transfer nutrients from sea to land, clean up water bodies, fields, and forests. The virtual classes echoed with the shouts of fly birds flying up in the sky during pretend play as birds.
