A playful environment is what children want – a place where they communicate, resolve conflicts, solve problems, refine their skills and learn.
This time during circle time, our Prideens were involved in pairing the socks activity. Children were made to sit in a circle. Parents were earlier asked to send a pair of socks. One sock was placed on a chart paper, the rest were collected and kept in a tub. They were asked to identify and match the corresponding sock from the ones kept in the centre. Children got busy sorting, matching and identifying the socks.
This fun filled activity helped develop their observation and concentration skills and a boost to the matching and pairing aptitude.
