At Mother’s Pride, we believe that learning should be fun. To develop number recognition and quantification of the number 9, an exciting and engaging ‘Number Clay’ activity was organized.
The activity began with teachers encouraging the children to make birds nests. Having 9 birds as their friends in the class, children were asked to make food of their bird friends. To develop fine motor skills, children were given soft clay and were asked what they would like to make for their birds. All of them were eager to make cake, chocolate and gems for their new friends.
Children were excited as they picked up their handmade clay food items and kept them in their birds nest to feed the 9 birds.
