Teaching the alphabet is foundational for reading and writing. Around the age of two, children begin showing interest in learning alphabet letters. Playing with the alphabet is a great way to teach letters to a preschooler and get ready to read. To enable the Prideens to learn and apply the concept of early literacy in many of their everyday activities and provide multiple ways for students to enjoy the concept, recognition, and identification of Letters, letter M was introduced through the story of a little girl Minnie. Letter recognition and sounds were reinforced through interesting and engaging activities like tracing, having muffin break, coloring, and forming the letter with kidney beans, clay, and earbud printing in the mango.
