To let our little Prideens shine in transportation lessons, an exciting driving activity called ‘Chair Line Up’ was organised at Mother’s Pride, Indrapuram. The objective behind the activity was to help kids learn the usage of objects and symbols in a fun and creative way. During the activity, the children were engaged in a simple dramatic play. To give it a real touch, the teacher asked the children to sit on the lined up chairs and pretend to drive with the help of plates, which they used as steering wheels. The teacher also created noises of vehicles and guided children while asking questions such as “Where are we going?”, “How we take the right turn?”, “How we take the left turn?”, “Who drives the bus?”, “Let’s drive to the grocery store”.
It was amazing to see the joy on the faces of our little Prideens when they react to the sounds of vehicle sounds and turns. The activity indeed helped them feel as imaginative and enthusiastic as possible.
